Tucked just off the M62 at junction 30, on the road towards Wakefield, sits what might seem like an unlikely gem—a scruffy-looking blue 40-foot container. At first glance, it may not strike you as a place you'd stop for a bite, but trust me, you’ll be grateful you did. What lies behind that unassuming exterior is one of the best roadside eateries you’ll ever stumble upon. The food? Simply phenomenal. Every bite bursts with flavour, and the portions are generous without being overwhelming. The best part? The prices won’t break the bank. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this little haven proves you can never judge a place by its cover. Perfect for a quick stop-off or a leisurely meal, this container cafe is a hidden culinary delight you won’t want to miss. It is a true testament to how incredible food can thrive in the most unexpected places.

This is a really nice lay-by cafe close to the M62 J30. The man running it accommodated my wife as a veggie by making a super mushroom sandwich on a separate griddle. Egg and sausage sandwich just hit the spot. There is seating outside overlooking open fields. Have been back since.

Great tasting bacon sandwich cooked to order. Made with locally sourced quality produce, from nearby butcher and baker. Good value and top quality. Yorkshire tea, good filter coffee (enjoyed!) and cold drinks too. Will be back to try the sausages and hand-made burgers and relish! Power sockets incl USB for charging your phone or laptop. Very friendly service, relaxed and everything cooked and made the way *you* want it.

This café really stepped up during a recent gas incident that hit the local community. The owner went above and beyond to make sure both the public and the engineers were fed. Can’t recommend this place enough!
